この動画で出てくる男性の英語は聞き取りにくいと思いませんか？理由は、読むスピードが速く、前後の単語の音が一部つながっているからです。このように、前後の単語の音がつながって1つの音に聞こえる現象を「リンキング（リエゾン）」と言います。
リンキングには様々なパターンがありますが、一つ一つのパターンを覚えるよりも、とにかく実例をたくさん聞いて「耳を慣らす」ことが、マスターするための一番近道です。
この動画では、2〜8単語で作られた短めのフレーズの中から、リンキングやリダクション（本来発音する音が発音されない現象）などの影響で特に聞き取りにくいものを厳選しました。これらのフレーズが聞き取れるようになれば、ネイティブの話す英語が聞き取りやすくなるでしょう。
⭕️本リスニングシリーズはすべて英語ネイティブの「人間の声」による録音です。YouTubeにある類似動画の多くは機械音声が使われていますが、英語の音の連結（リンキング）や脱落（リダクション）などの音声変化は、自然な人間の声で聞くのが最も効果的です。機械音声でのリスニング練習は音声変化が不自然なケースが多いためおすすめしません。
