こんにちは！カナと申します。英語の面白さにはまってしまい、いつしか海外留学をしたいと思うようになっていました。日本の公立高校卒業後、カナダのトロント大学に進学し、経済学と国際関係学を専攻しました。卒業後は外資系の金融機関に勤めていましたが、ある時英語を教えるきっかけがあり、それから15年以上英語を教えています。これまでに上智や早稲田の国際教養学部を志望している学生さんに予備校で教えてきた一方、国立大学でTOEFL講座なども担当させて頂きました。他にも外務省などの中央省庁で職員研修も担当してきました。本場で英語を使ってきたカナならではの視点で、英語の楽しさ、面白さが伝わるような情報をこれからも皆さんにお伝えしていきます? ご質問などありましたら、コメント欄にお願いします！

It's also good for children to understand that books are a useful source of information and that good reading skills are important for success in their future lives.
Stories are a great way to introduce new words and ideas into a child’s language – starting with picture books for the very young, stories can help children learn about concepts such as shape, size, space, and color, up and down, inside and outside, numbers, the names of objects and Good Manners. I think we should travel and learn English at a hotel. In this English lesson I will take you to a hotel and we'll learn a whole lot of English phrases and vocabulary that you would need to know to stay at a hotel while travelling.

We'll travel to a hotel. We'll check in to a hotel. We'll swim in the hotel pool, and we'll have a look at the breakfast! It will be so much fun for you to learn English in a real world situation.

I hope this English lesson at a hotel helps you a lot as you continue on your journey of learning to speak English fluently!

音声は合計で4回流れます。最初は自然な速度の音声が2回流れるので、何を話しているか考えてみましょう。次に、聞き取りやすい速度で音声が1回、最後に自然な速度でもう一度英語が流れます。最後の2回は画面に字幕が表示されるので、答え合わせをしましょう。

センター試験やTOEIC(R)、英検などのリスニング試験対策にも最適です。

⭕️「英語の耳を作る！リスニング」シリーズはすべて英語ネイティブの「人間の声」による録音です。YouTube上にある模倣動画の多くは機械音声が使われていますが、機械音声でのリスニング練習は音声変化が不自然なケースが多いためおすすめしません。英語の音の連結（リンキング）や脱落（リダクション）などの音声変化は、自然な人間の声で聞くのが最も効果的です。
