In this video we are going to look at word stress and sentence stress through the famous song ‘My Favourite Things’ from the 1965 musical film ‘The Sound of Music’. The song works so well because it has been written using triple time like a waltz: it follows the pattern: one-two-three-one-two-three. Throughout the lyrics, all strong syllables fall on the ‘one’ while weak syllables fall on the ‘two‘ or ‘three‘. We are going to have a look at one verse of this song and then you are encouraged to write your own verse telling us about your favourite things.

في هذا الفيديو شرح المقاطع في اللغة الانجليزيه وتعلم مقاطع الكلمة في اللغة الانجليزية او تقسيم الكلمة الى مقاطع باللغة الانجليزيةوتعلم النطق الصحيح في اللغة الإنجليزية فيديو جديد من فيديوهات تعليم الإنجليزية، درس اليوم خاص بكورس الصوتيات ونوضح فيه كيفية تقسيم الكلمات الانجليزيه الى مقاطع Syllables وكيف نميز المقطع في النطق داخل الكلمة أو ما يطلق عليه ال Word Stress ... كي تتحدث بطريقة أكثر وضوحاً عندما تتحدث باللغة الإنجليزية، عليك أن تؤكد على المقطع المناسب داخل كل كلمة تقولها وهو ما يطلق عليه مصطلح ال word stress ، والذي يعني في (علم الصوتيات الإنجليزية) التأكيد في النطق على مقطع معين داخل الكلمة تأكيداً قوياً أكثر من المقاطع الآخر التي تتكون منها الكلمة
